Specialized Testing

At the Issels Medical Center it is our highest goal to offer the most effective treatment programs that meet the unique requirements of each individual patient.

Therefore, in addition to all conventional diagnostic procedures, we utilize innovative comprehensive assessments and tests that go beyond the initial diagnosis in order to determine causal factors and preconditions for the development of the disease.

With all our patients --

We use the test called Electrodermal Screening (EDS) that provides information on:

  • inherited constitution, acquired dispositions and weaknesses;
  • causal factors such as chronic infections, allergens and other
  • influences, that are known to impair the regulatory and immune functions making the body prone to disease.

With our cancer patients --

We use, in addition to EDS, the Molecular Detection of Disseminated Cancer cells and their chemo-sensitivity, in order to:

  • identify patients at high risk of relapse; and
  • initiate targeted chemotherapy.

This (targeted) chemotherapy would be integrated into the comprehensive treatment program with the purpose of enhancing its effectiveness, minimizing side effects, and improving overall immune mechanisms.

Depending on the individual patient’s condition we use additional diagnostic assessments which include, but are not limited to, the following:

* DISCLAIMER: The extent of the response to treatment varies from patient to patient, even with similar diagnosis as the internal bodily environment is unique to each individual patient.
